Reading TC Journalling (.JNL) file

Loading of a huge BOM in structure Manager is crashing Teamcenter (2T RAC). Tcserver syslog file records "Exception code: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION". In order to debug the issue and zero in on that one particular BOM line causing the crash, I enabled a bunch of TC Journalling variables. And now, I have a JNL file with 4 million lines. How do I read this file and get to the exact line recording the error ? The JNL file will have rollback messages, so scrolling to the end of the file will not give the error information. The error is burried somewhere in the middle of the file I believe. The usual keyword search for "Error" is not returning useful results. Any suggestions please ?

You could talk to your Siemens salesperson and ask about Journal Workbench. It's listed at about $800, but it can be pretty useful for situations like yours. Maybe you can talk them into a trial to see if it works to solve this problem.
