Searching for attributes in Teamcenter

Hi guys,

Suppose I have an attribute the user defines in NX. Like "Material = Steel"

Also this attribute is mapped to Teamcenter and I can see it in the Summary tab in Teamcenter Rich Client.

Can I make a search based on the attribute "Material" ?

Suppose I want to search for all items that are "steel"

Or all items which are produced for a specific customer with a defined attribute called "CustomerName"

Hello Cem,

You cannot perform attribute based query with OOTB system defined queries.

To perform such search operations, you have to build custom queries using query builder module.

For more details kindly find attached link:

You cannot search Item attributes using search in Teamcenter. However, you can create a query with

Search class = Item ( if the attribute "steel" is attached to Item properties form).
