We are building a test server on Windows using jboss.
We are at the stage where we deploy the tc.war file and we are failing.
When Jboss processes the tc.war file in the standalone\deployments folder it produces errors that suggest it is just a pathing problem.
Cannot find many jar files looking in content/c.war/WEB-INF... and that folder does not exist.
Something related to the windows working directory and the deployment destination?
Maybe some can explain how the relative location of tc.war, jboss root, and the working directory that jboss is started in?
please follow this article:
So, in attach i placed archive with two configs file (i made it for tc 10 or 11, but i hope what it will be useful you), you can try it, i configured jboss for use 7001 port.
sure, you should to overwrite existng files
4. in head of this file typing:
set JAVA_HOME="path to your jdk, for TC 12 it should be jdk8"
5. copy your tc.war in ....standalone\deployments\
6. run standalone.bat -b 0.0.0.0
7. try to connect at tc and if you will have errors, please copy them from console window and send to us
ok i'll come home and do this document for the community
Maybe this will help someone.
If you point me to errors in this file, I will gladly correct them ...
Installing a web-level on the server side will allow you to take advantage of working in AWC, even if you have only 2-level access on the server or client side
If you have created a web directory, you can then install the integration for MS Office for 2-tier clients, as well as use the AWC quick search through a browser or MS Office Word or Excel, you can use Outlook - using the web directory to download , upload and view files from the TC database even if you have only 2-tier Client !!!
