Teamcenter login error: POM has not started

I am getting POM has not started error while login. Please suggest. 13-05-2018 15-59-43.png

Check the DB connect and the service is running successfully .

Check the tcserver syslog for the specific error

 

You can also try the below solution

 

On the Oracle server machine, restart the database service.
    e.g.
      OracleServiceTC
  ) Also, restart the Oracle listener service
    e.g.
      OracleOraDB12Home1TNSListener

looks like an issue with the database. If this is an oracle instance I recommend the following steps
In the command prompt
set oracle_sid="your db Name"
sqlplus / as sysdba
or
sqlplus system@"your db name"
it will prmpt for the password
Given the instance password that you have given at the time of creating the oracle db
execute the following commands
select name from v$database; to check the db
select status from v$instance; -- > Checks if your oracle instance is open

If the oracle instance is open check your env variables and try launching the 2T client...
If you are able to connect from the command prompt....then ensure that your env variables are correctly set...that should be the problem that you should work on with..
Check the tc environment variables to see if this is connecting to the correct db.
