How to add templates for NX with different Item types? I.e. Modelling template for "Item" and for "CAD" item types?

Where should I modify preferences/files to property create and import this templates, because I. I can only see a Item templates and others are invisible in creating new item menu in NX with TC integration.

NX Templates are imported into Teamcenter using the program NX_BASE_DIR\UGII\templates\tcin_template_setup.bat or tcin_cam_template_setup.bat.

The script will load the appropriate nxdm_*.pax files. Edit nxdm_model_templates.pax to add a section at the bottom that contains your Item types. The ItemType tag is your custom Item type. The Filename tag uses the DB name format:

@DB/<ItemID>/<RevID>

Do the same in any of the other PAX files like nxdm_ugs_drawing_templates.pax or nxdm_ugs_sheet_templates.pax. After editing the PAX files then run the appropriate TCIN batch script to import them. Open a Teamcenter command window, change to the template directory and run the script as an admin.
