Check if port 12099 is being blocked by firewall on server

Because I don't have access to unblock the port from firewall..

We need more information to help you. Do you have access to the server where the OTW process windows (or services) are running? It would be helpful to see the Context Parameters of OTW (Distribution Server) and the 4t RAC (Distribution Server Instance).

Re: error while installing 4 tier OTW

Hi Ganesh,

As per the data on my server, I see that the same port number from in Installing.html  has to be used in start_rmi.bat.

In your files it seems to be different. Installing.html uses 49153  (param name="server_name" value="")  while start_rmi is using 49152.

Another suggestion: If the requirements permit, you can also use tem.bat to install 4-Tier RAC instead of OTW

Re: error while installing 4 tier OTW

I have tried by changing the port in start_rmi.bat.But still the same problem exist.

any other suggestion pls
