I checked it myself, it seems I do not have these problems, write your version of the viewer. Your JT files are normally displayed in the built-in viewer?
I'm using IE 11 and the program to open xml in my computer is notepad++
Sorry but I'm not sure to anderstand when you said :"What is the associated *.xml on your computer?"
Do you want the tool to open xml (notepad++) or the xml itself ?
Antispam removes my answer...
Good afternoon, I also use Notepad++
As it turned out to be a simple change in the association of files, the problem is not solved, it is necessary to make changes to the registry.
1) Do an association of xml files with Notepad++
2) Make changes to the registry
Works for me (I have Windows 8.1 and IE10):
For IE10 the Windows registry modification should be as follows: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\XEV.GenericApp\shell\open\command Defaults from "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" %1 To "C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe" "%1"
For IE11 the Windows registry modification should be as follows: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT>xmlfile>shell>open>command Defaults from "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" %1 To "C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe" "%1"
I did not test the changes for IE11; I have it not installed.
Before changing the registry branch, make its export (backup) so that it can be returned to its original state.
Your installation paths for Notepad++ may differ, I tested on the x64 bit version of Notepad++, I do not work with x86.
