"Metal Thickness" in Structure Manager

Genius

Hello,

We're working with Teamcenter 11.4 and we saw there is a column "Metal Thickness" that can be shown. This column is currently empty on all our parts. Are we right assuming it's design to store the thickness of sheet metal ?

We're working with Nx11.0.2.

How can this attribute be populated ? Do we need to map something between Nx and Teamcenter ? From the NX point of view, should this attribute be created manually ? Or is this the sheet metal global thickness that can be specified in sheet metal parts ?

I did not find anything on this forum or in NX/TC documentation. I'll take any information or advice !

Thank you in advance :).

Best regards.

It is runtime property which is on the runtime object as shown below, so you will not be able to map it by using attribute mapping, but definitely, it will be populated from some other object.

Hi Ganesh,

Thank you very much for your answer, this seems to be it !

However, I've created some weld points in NX and published them into Teamcenter, there isn't more information filled in... In any case, we do not work with weld points. Yet, this is interesting to see how it works.

Best regards,
