Hello Admins

currently when users USER1 create data, (OOTB TC), if another user USER2 want t o use it the only wayIS

USER1--> to send the Item number/name to USER2

USER2--> Searching for that data and copy paste to his home folder

other than this is there a OOTB way how user can send the data information to other user withing same TC site/instance

TIA

If this is a common practice for you then you may want to create a folder instead. USER1 pastes into a folder and USER2 can access it from the folder. Taking this approach further, you can use Projects but a projects main purpose is security and access control.

You can use Teamcenter Envelope option. Right click on the Item/object, hit send to-->Envelope. It brings up a little window where you can enter the recipient user ID, subject and hit send. Its like sending a Teamcenter internal email with the selected object as an attachment. The receiving user can access the envelope under Mailbox folder.
