This program ("Contest") is open to persons 18 years of age and older. This Contest is not open to employees of Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Software Inc. Go VR! Activation Activity:
To enter this Contest, you must register for and attend Realize Live 2019 and provide your personal details to Siemens at its event registration desk, which is located on the 2nd floor of Cobo Hall, outside of the Solutions Center. This event is to be held in Detroit, MI, from June 11, 2019 (EST) to June 13, 2019 (EST). Scanning an attendees badge does not create an entry for the Contest drawings. Winners are selected from all eligible entries collectively received during all days of the conference.
To qualify for this Contest, you will need to perform an assembly task within our VR software and then put parts back to their original positions within our Teamcenter® platform, Go VR! software. Become an apprentice mechanic and learn to re-assemble a gearbox by following live instructions from a trainer in a virtual environment. The contestant who completes the steps most accurately and efficiently wins! Your final score will be the time it took you to complete the assembly, plus any penalty seconds. Fifteen (15) penalty seconds will be added for each of the following:
Any components left uninstalled
Any parts that have not fully snapped to their correct location
Any steps done in the wrong order
All participants may conduct one (1) practice round. In addition, all participants may perform an assembly task up to two (2) times in an effort to have his or her best time an assembly accuracy recorded for the leaderboard.
Times will be kept on a leaderboard throughout the conference. On Thursday June 13, 2019 at 12:00 noon (EST), the two (2) registered entrants that completed the assembly the fastest and most accurately, will receive a prize.
Each winner will have until 3:00 PM on June 13, 2019 to collect his or her prize in person or it will be mailed to the address provided. You must show valid identification to collect the prize at the Event. The two (2) prizes to be awarded are:
First place: One (1) HTC Virtual Reality System Vive Pro Starter Kit – PC (estimated retail value of $1099 USD);
