PLM as a basis for Service Lifecycle Management

Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) begins well before the first maintenance/repair call. Supporting Design for Service, Service Planning, and finally the Service Delivery for products after the sale must be coordinated across the entire product lifecycle. Teamcenter has taken this approach from the beginning to build on the strength of PLM to support SLM regardless of service model to help avoid outages, reduce downtime, and promote performance.
