Added custom Command in Richclient stylesheet & use the same from office client

Hi,

In TC 11.2 I added a command thrugh rich client as below example

<command actionKey = "newDesignAction" commandId = "com.teamcenter.rac.NewDesign"
renderingHint = "commandbutton"/>

My command works fine from rich client. And if I add custom Javascript I know I can get it working from Thinclient. However I wonder how to get it working or perform custom operation from custom command in Summary stylesheet of Office integration? And if required where should add my custom handler for command?

Any lead will be greatly appreciated.

The office client cannot be customized to my knowledge. It is written in COM.

Thanks for reply,

My requirement is to open a browser window with "object_string" as input to teh URL . Some thing like

http://legacy.com?item_str=object_string

We have a legacy system and user should connect the Item created from office with one in legacy system before Releasing the document. This requires user interaction to select legacy Item to connect to.

The Web page does not requires any Teamcenter object/login other than object_string.
