We were doing a demo to a SW prospect and were showing how they can drag and drop files into TC, but then we dragged a PDF file that already existed in TC and it simply duplicated it.
I thought that at least a warning would be issued.
Our support said that a search must be done previously to know if a file (or dataset) already exists in TC, but why isn't this checked automatically when data is being sent to TC?
I know that, but wouldn't it be useful for Teamcenter to warn you that a dataset exactly with the same name already exists in TC and then you could decide what to do (add nayway, revise existing, etc)? This seems perfectly logic to me.
