Change Unit of measure - TC 10.1.0.1

Hello everyone

Is there a way to change the UOM of an Item used in multiple assemblies without removing this Item from those assemblies?

We are trying to standardize units accross our differents platform and this task is becoming a nightmare.

We are using TC 10.1.0.1 with NX 8.5.3.

You can batch change using SQL however it is dangerous so I won't post the solution in this forum. You'll have to contact me directly. rellsworth at sherpa-design.com

Thanks to Rick Horwart who wrote the attached ITK. As you may know, ITK doesn't bypass the application layer like direct SQL so its inherently safer to use (and supported). Not all ITK is equal but Rick did a great job. He even compiled it on Tc10.1.0 to validate no errors before sending. You'll need to compile the attached into an external program to be used on the Teamcenter command line. Enjoy!
