I am currently implementing Teamcenter 11 in my workplace with the help of a vendor. The vendor has helped us to configure several documents as a template. The rest of the documents will need to done up by me.
i am confused whether to create some document as a template or as a dataset. Kindly enlightened me when do we create documents for examples : quotations (hardcopyed), Drawings , Purchase request as a template or as a dataset ? What are the characteristics of each ?
I have about 80 over documents which half are hardcopyed whereas some required workflows for approval.
