Error finding license for selected module


One of our customers has this problem, when he tries to login to Teamcenter 11, a message shows up saying: "Error finding license for selected module"


He tried to log in with another colleague's login credentials, and with that he was able to login without any problem.


The customer restarted his computer and all that, but it didn't fix the problem. I also logged in to their server machine to restart the licensing service, reread the license file, but nothing happened.


What other things can be done to solve this? Image attached.

  • Did you check the "Licensing Level", "License Server", "License Bundle" for this user in TC --> Organization --> Users? Is it same as the ones for other users?
  • You can set FLEXLM_DIAGNOSTICS environment variable with the value of 3 and see if it gives any useful information to troubleshoot
