How to add SLDPRT to a Solidworks assembly from Teamcenter

Hi guys,

I want to add a component from TEAMCENTER to a Solidworks assembly using SWIM.

I can create parts, drawings etc, also assemblies, but when I want to add component as you see, I only see my computer.

Can I see Teamcenter folders while adding a component?

Hello Cem Solidworks working with local PC, if you using part from teamcenter, you must open part to local PC, so you can use part to add your Assembly Solidwork. After finished assembly you can save to Teamcenter, i hope this can help you. Thank you Sudikin Teamcenter Administrator Teamcenter Integration SW2015 & NX10

I saw in a video that, in Solidworks you open a model from Teamcenter, then Right click on it and Insert model. Then you add it to the assembly.

Hi Cem,

You right click on the SolidWORKS assembly in the Teamcenter Navigator in SolidWORKS.

Then select the Insert Model button. From here you will get the standard SWIM Teamcenter Insert window.
