Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how to make a property not editable in TC and the same property editable only in NX. From Siemens guide, i am able to find how to restrcit editing from NX but not from TC by using "/master=none" or "/master=iman" argument in the mapping file.

Regards,

S

I think you can use "/master=cad"  in the mapping file and define the property as "Enabled=false, Modifiable=Write" in BMIDE to obtain what you need.

Thanks for quick help. Its working for me as expected. But there is a small problem. If the property has some value in it and untill the property is not edited in NX, i am not able to see the value in TC.It is showing as empty property in TC but actually it is not empty.

S

That looks strange to me, you should be able to see the property value in TC even not changed in NX.
