Is there any error message displayed?
What does the status line tell you?
Where do you display the home folder (rich, thin, active client)?

I am using the Thick client. Out Teamcenter Specialist is no longer with us so I'm not sure what to do. I have had some training but am no pro!

There is a status icon in the system tray near the clock in the Windows task bar, that also has the ability to display a status window.
Have you tried picking something else in the window, for example home from the left panel?
What exact release are you running (see about window)?

Hello VL
I have some problem with you. this is step which i'm doing.
1. Check login with administrator for TC, what this login TC is running? If yes, go to step 2.
if No : must be check installation TC
2. Login user PC and go to exploere.
Document setting => Teamcenter => Delete (RAC only or All 3 item)
3. Restart PC, Login
