Set the License Level to "Mockup", run the registry (genregxml.bat) and restart RAC.

Ben,

The Value "UGPART.TCTwoDViewer=UGPART" works beautifully for viewing NX drawings. Thank you

Are you aware of any values that might allow you to view Pro E drawings in the viewer?

Thanks

Not sure, sorry. The syntax is <dataset type>.<viewer type>=<list of named references>
I would start with that. Perhaps someone else in this forum has figured it out, if it's even possible.

@DaveK, the same should be true for you.
I suspect your PortalViewer_License_Level is set to 'Base' in client_specific.properties. Set it to 'Mockup', run genregxml.bat and restart RAC.

Is this a server side thing?  my Tc speak still isn't that great, and you lost me on that :)

Yep, it's server side.
%TC_ROOT%\portal\plugins\configuration_<tc version>\client_specific.properties

# Runtime and custom entries below this line
PortalViewer_Cache=
PortalViewer_Optional_Licenses=
PortalViewer_License_Level=Mockup

%TC_ROOT%\portal\registry\genregxml.bat

This conversation is very good and I hate to interrupt it. However, client_specific.properties is on the client side. You'll find it in PORTAL_ROOT (where you installed the rich client) then either \portal (TEM) or \rac (OTW). Followed by \plugins\configuration_<tc_version>\. You'll also find site_specific.properties in this same directory. You're doing great ... keep up the good work.
