Hi.
When I revise a part and then open it in ST7, it is not linked to the newly revised model.
When I go to edit link and change source, it doesn't work.
I have to close the draft down, oupen the model, close the model down.
When I then re-open the draft the link is ok.
How can I make sure the draft and model are linked when I revise the part in teamcenter?

If you are using Solid Edge, you shouldn't revise from TC. SEEC keeps all those links in place but TC doesn't do it well. Use Structure Editor or SE to make your revision and the links will be fine.

Correct, in SEEC you don't get those options. But you can work on your deep copy rules to apply general rules each time you make a revision. If you are already going into TC to modify what is attached to the new revision each time, then I'd suggest do those actions after you make the revision in SEEC.

Hi Everyone.
Hope you had a good break.
When I revise my drawing to REV 'A'. for some reason the date of the original revision changes to present day.
It does this if I up rev in teamcenter and in SE.
Why is this?
