I have two questions relating to author license

1.If the author license is user based, which means you can login from any device, but how am I able to edit a design if no CAD present in the device am using for example a tablet

2. How about datasets? can we edit them from a remote device under author license

An author license provides the "capability" to edit. It does not provide the authoring software which is up to the administrator to install on whichever device you are using. You must have authoring software to edit.
