You can also enter it as "PDF;TIF" in the Default Value column.
The default separator for multiple entries is the semicolon. (It's a query preference).
I think it's confused because you have 2 identical "User Entry Names." Try changing one in the Query Builder. That column is manually editable, just add 2 at the end.
@Dazzie - I just built this query that will give you Item Revisions with PDF & TIF files. It should give you any Item Rev that has a PDF and/or TIF.
Search Type = ItemRevision
Copy this into Attribute: ImanRelation<-primary_object.Dataset:secondary_object.object_type
Default Value = PDF;TIF
You don't have to display the entry but I did to show for this query:
I deleted the TIF, reran the search, new results:
One more question regarding tif files.
When I click on the dataset I get the image in the preview window.
When I double click it to open it I get an error message and will not open.
Why can't I open it?
Does it have to be downloaded or do I have to do something to open it straight from Teamcenter?
@Dazzie - What tool do you want it to open with? If you do download the file, it opens correctly with the tool you prefer when double-clicking it?
We generally open it using 'Imaging Preiview' a Kodak software.
I went into the properties of the tif file in Teamcenter and I didn't get the option to chage it.
I'm guessing it is somewhere else.
@Dazzie - I'm not familiar with that tool. TC will try to use whatever program you've set for your windows defaults. If that is already set, then it might in the registry. If you aren't experienced in changing registry settings, take a backup of them first so you can restore if needed.
