Compounding part appearances into assembly

Hello,

Is it possible to compound multiple part appearances into one appearance?

I have read that it has been impossible in earlier versions of Process Simulate --> But you could collapse your appearances Under a "compund part" like the attached file shows (just an example).

The next question is how to make them (multiple appearances) to collapse under the Compound Part?

A help would be very appreciated!

Best regards

Re: Compounding part appearances into assembly

You can add a button with Options -> customize, add the Substitute Instances button. You can create a master instance with multiple other instances in it. I havent tried it myself but I think this could work for you.

Hello Pim and thank you for the reply,

Neither do I need it at the moment but I was curious about it because I once struggled with this. And I will need this in a few weeks.
