is it possible to create an interlaced action in a customized template?
I want to place some olp-commands for the first via location and all weld locations in one task.
<Action Name="Parent Task" LocationTypes="VIA" LocRange="First>
<Action Name="Child Task" LocationTypes="WELD" LocRange="ALL">
If I do so, i get an error message.
Is there any solution for it?
Solved! Go to Solution.
you cannot have interlaced actions.
the solution for this is following:
- create an action for the weld locations action1
- create another action for the via locations action2
- create another action (action3) that references the 2 actions (action1, action2)
from the path template, you select action3
Thanks, it works very well.
But i have another question, is it possible to create one point before and after a weld-location with an offset of z=-10?
yes, that is possible as well.
in the spot action, use AddLoc command, you can specify type (via) before or after and offset. Currently ofsset can only be relative to the reference location.
To create locations before and after, you need to use 2 AddLoc commands in the same action.
Awww, thats great!
I will check that out right tomorrow!
Thanks for that. If there are any more questions I will ask them here.
Thanks for the great help!
So Bernhard, this also works very well!
Thanks for that.
I have one last question for the moment, is there a reverse command for AddLoc?
The thing is, if i accidentally create locations via the AddLoc command to delete a location before and after the weldlocation?
no, there is no opposite action to the AddLoc.
However, if you realize after applying the path template that something is wrong, you can use "undo". This will cancel all channges applied by the path template.
Ok too bad that there is no such command, but then my collegues have to take a closer look for what they are doing
Thanks for the great support bernhard!
Merry Christmas and happy new year.
