Hi,

Please check that there are no whitespaces in the joints name, especially at the end. E.g. "j1 ".

Check with your cursor. The name should consist of numbers and letters.

Best regards

When the kinematic editor closes without error message you are fine regarding the kinematic. I'm not aware of any naming conventions for any object entities.

But if after modelling the component cannot be stored, it's usually a wrong filename. Avoid whitespace and 'minus'. Use underscore instead.

On my machine on rare occasions it might happen, that a component is blocked from saving by Windows. You might use the freeware 'unlocker' to check what process is holding it.
