Import of AutoCAD 2D drawing into Process Simulate Window

Hello,

Can anyone help me out on how to import AutoCAD 2D Layout into Process Simulate Window.

I have converted the AutoCAD (.dwg) file into .jt format and followed the File--Import/Export--Convert and Insert CAD Files. Also, I have chosen Base Class as Resource, Compound class as PmCompoundResource and Prototype class as PmToolPrototype. But the 2D layout is not being displayed on the Process Simulate Layout.

Kind Regards,

Sriram

Hi! Did you check that JT file has necessary graphics inside? You can try to open JT in some native viewer like JT2Go. How did you convert DWG to JT? It might be that certain settings are necessary to get 2D lines/curves to JT. Another option would be using "DXF2JT" converter. The should not be a problem to export DXF from Autocad.
