Importing CAD file, cant run the translator

[ Edited ]

Hi all, another question!

Im trying to import a STEP file into PS. I have installed the translators. I ticked the function create JT file and set a target folder. My log file says the following;

- loaded .config file

- failed to run translator

what could be te problem? Or is there a additional license required for this function?

Hi,

it could be problem with a license. Try to run translator directly from command line. It will display more detailed information.

Yep,

if you run the TxSTEP2Cojt from command line, you will get the license error.

Thanks for the help!

I found out I have the JT-in license, so I can import JT files. I have translated my STEP file in NX to a JT file. So hopefully I can load my file into PS this way!
