I would suggest a XML Path Template to populate your regular parameter with dynamic parameter "Loc Name" then you would edit your regular parameter.

There is no way to defined default value for a regular parameter based on a dynamic parameter.

Hello ElSombrante

Can you explain a little more about your need?

You can also populate MFG names automatically using "RoboticParametersToMfgAttributes.xml" located under your SystemRoot directory.

In addition to that, you can edit the Name in a specific motion parameter and use this parameter in Path Editor (so you don't need to open an OLP command each time).

But all of this depends on your needs
