PC Hardware for Robcad

Hi,

Currently we have HP Z200 with configuration like this:

Processor: Intel Xeon CPU X3440 @2.53 GHz 2.67 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 8GB 1333 MHz
GPU: NVIDIA Quadro 600 (Dedicated Memory: 1024 MB, Shared System Memory: 3807 MB)
Storage: 7200 RPM, RAID 1

We have serious performance issues with this configuration. What we need is to simulate cells with 10-15 robots. When we check the certified hardwares from HP, we see there are several variations. What must be our specifications to simulate these kind of cells? Do we need SSD? What must be the cpu and gpu details? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

hi,

for a big cell is the "Tianhe-2" (Supercomputer) a good solution.  Smiley Very Happy Smiley Very Happy Smiley Very Happy Smiley Very Happy Smiley Very Happy

joking....

a DELL Precision M6800 with big CPU and Geforce K4100 nvidia card is a good solution.

SSD harddrive is good for loading speed.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Thank you for your help. If it is possible could you also name a non-mobile configuration?

Best Regards,
