Are anybody faced with the low speed of the PS and periodically hang-up program?
What PC configuration who uses? What can you advise?
Now I'm using Core i5-4670 3.4 GHz, NVIDIA Quadro K600 1 Gb, 16 Gb RAM, Seagate ST500DM002, Win7 pro.
For example: The Automatic approach angle for ~ 1k points performed 1:20 h; The CPU load is about 60-70% when activate one cable for one robot.
Go to Solution.
on GTAC website you can find a sheet for supported/certified hardware:
Hardware (Graphics Card) Certifications
1GB of Graphic Cards Memory is not that much.
CPU is an i5 of 4th Generation. Not the newest one.
"Automatic Approach Angle" for 1000 points with your hardware can take a bit longer.
During the function is executed. It will check for each point/location the best postion for the gun to not have a collision with the part.
I think therefore good Graphic Card with high memory is the best option.
For more detailed analysis, you could report this to GTAC to check how long it takes to run "Automatic Approach Angle" with more powerful hardware.
I'll try to test PS in other computer, with another graphic card. Thanks for help
