I am starter user of Tecnomatix PS 13.1.1
I have tried to create continuous process operation with cont. process generator.
1. created mfg
2. Project a arc
3. align the torch on the arc
(QUESTION is here)
***After I completed the setups robotic operation did not start***
Here is the message from the simulation monitor:
1 Error 0 -Planning motion failed -
No inverse solution to middle point -49.07 -311.34 1558.87 RPY(51.62 0.50 -90.40).
2 Error 0 The robot can't move to location Arc_Robotic_Op_1_ls1.
You can access the Teach Pendant dialog and try to check/modify the motion parameters.
What could be the problem.
Robot is on the 7th axis. Maybe i did not succeed the setups of ext axis.
Here is the settings what i did to external axis setup:
1. relocate to robot on the rail(has two part: part 1 and part 2 linked with prismatic joint)
2. attached the robot to the part2 (sliding part of the external rail system)
3. adding external axis in the robot properties
I deleted the locations unable to reach by robot. but still operation doest start.
Please help me to understand the ext axis definition, and cont arc process.
I solved this.
First I entered the teach pedant as 2nd error message said. I entered same values
motion types, speed, zone parameters. Now while the windows open robot start to its action.
But it stopped when the location robot cannot reach without ext axis support. So I setted some ext axis values where it can be approach to and where it can be depart. But now external axis moving when the tool reached that location only. it doesnot seem natural. how can I make a smooth external axis moves all over the path??
Robot can jump all location except 1 point, I can see that with location manipulator with follow mode.
Did you mean that? I could not understand your suggestion well, I think.
