Process Simulate 13: Lost tool mount information after study reload

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hi everybody,

it happens not usually. But sometimes, when iam loading my study, all my mounted tools are gone. I mount the tools a second time, so i can simulate, but the time i put into this extra work, is gone.

How can i avoid this?

Thanks for reading

Kind regards

When you are saying they are "gone", do you mean the tools are dismounted for no reason or removed from the study (as in no longer appearing in the object tree) ?

Yes, they are dismounted for no reason.

I mount them again.

When iam finished my work for the day: Save study, close Simulate.

Next day: Open Simulate, open study and the tools are not mounted.

Do you mountet the tools via OLP logic or direct by function`?

thanks

Iam working in Standard Mode and i mount the tool with toolframe on robotframe axis 6.

We use the robot tool box to mount tools. Add tool, define TCP, physical on TCP Frame.

When i attach the tools on the robot, without Mounting or with Mounting, its the same problem.

After loading the study, the tool have no connections with the robot.

First thing i do every new day, is to mount my tools.

Obviously this is no normal behavior.

I believe your study is corrupted.
In order to check your data, I recommend to contact GTAC and provide the data.

Before that, you should investigate a few things, like:
- does the same happen in a new study
- do common attachment work at all
- is other study information stored at all (notes, colors, frames)

We create the study with Process Simulate Version 11 and change to Version 13 during project.

But new stuys, create with Version 13 and never be in contact with Version 11, have the same issue.

I thought, it might be a config failure.

Are you working on TC?
Maybe missing write access to your study?
Check if your study object has only one dataset of a kind. Sometimes it behaves a bit strange.

Did you check other study info, mentioned in my previous post?

Yes, my cable assembly are still attached. Colours are still there, Notes are ok.

Hmmm. I create a new study and test again.
