Robot cell creation with Backup

HI,

I am new to tecnomatix and we have ABB robots.

We have backup data of Robot and want to create the cell with that data.

Can someone guide me how to do that.Just few initail steps will be helpful.

Does the standard package of tecnomatix have postprocer for all Robot Brands like KUKA,Fanuc and others or do we have to specify at the time of purchasing.

Re: Robot cell creation with Backup

We have "controllers" (they are doing more than post processors) for all major robot brands.

ABB, FANUC, KUKA and some others require additional licenses.

Hi,
Does the software gives full library of robot 3d models if we buy ABB
license.

Hello,

All supported robot models You can find on siemens portal:

https://download.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com/

You need login using WebKey Access Code.

Additionaly You need install OLP module (teachpendant for PS) with license. After that if Your backups have only standard ABB RAPID instructions You can upload program to simulation.

You can find additional ABB robot models in Tecnomatix format, free of charge, on ABB website

Re: Robot cell creation with Backup

Hi,

in our project following is the deliveribles:

  1. Documentation of nominal and on-site object and tool frames issued with last delivery
  2. All paths must be collision free in Robcad
  3. SOP(s) must reference the uploaded paths reflect the on-site process , Ensure alignment (allocation and positions) between joining process, Robcad and robot programs
  4. Tooling sequence documentaion issued with final deliver

Now, is the above tasks can be achieved with ROBCAD+OLP+SPOT or tecnomatix.

Our end user is insisting on ROBCAD and saying no to Tecnomatix.

Please help.
