Menu items under File -> Project Management aren't available (in grey colour) Smiley Sad For any mode. Could it be because I use а standalone version of PS?

Hi Ila.
Sorry - yes - this is only relevant for PS on EMS.
In PS Standalone I believe you can skip this step entirely (classes are already set by default).
Kind regards,
Gal Snir

Hi Ila.
Sorry to hear you're having problems with this.
I've tried reproducing your error and have not "succeeded".
What version of PS are you using ?
Kind regards,
Gal Snir

download the MADA files from Siemens ftp server for your controller.

https://download.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com/tecnomatix/RCS_Modules/KUKA/MADA/
this MADA folder includes data for several robots.

Copy the MADA folder into your RCS directory. (e.g. rrs_bin\rcs_krc1\krc8.3_r08)

Goto PS and try to set the machine data files again with this data.

System Root differs from the RCS module folder. Should it be the same?

in your system root a folder named "robotmachinedatafiles" is created automatically with subfolders (e.g. PP-26-11-2013-08-32-40-55) for all your robots in the cell.

After you have setup all information in "robot setup" (mada, tcp, base etc.) everything is saved in the robotmachinedatafiles folder for each robot.

Is the RCS module correctly installed and setup on your system?

Hello Patrick and everyone else there.

I have decided to reinstall my PS and to install eMServer based version instead of standalone. I have set up database but stuck on Creating Schemas step. The Tecnomatix AdminConsole wants me to establish a working schema before I can create any other ones. I don't understand should I create a special Oracle user account for that schema or should I use one of existing accounts which were created while creating a database with scripts?
