I'm trying to define a basic proximity sensor to raise a signal and activate something but it doesn't work.
I'm working with Tecnomatix Process Simulate Robotics 13.0.
I've imported two jt, converted to cojt as proximity sensors. One for the detector geometry and one for the object to detect.
I've created a proximity sensor, selected the correct geometry,selected the object to detect and a reasonable distance.
Signal proximity_sensor has appeared. when I start the simulation and approch the piece to detect, the signal doesn't change!
Is there something to activate like for the photoelectric sensor ?

Try connecting the proximity sensor signal to LB entry, or to external connection.
AFAIR, signals that are not connected to any resource are not being evaluated, which in the sensor case means that it is not taking part in the simulation.
