Gather CAN-Data (OBD-II) with 29 bit identifier instead of 11 bit identifier

Hello,

for quite some time I have been using the CAN-recording feature of Testlab. Most of the time I've recorded CAN-signals from cars that use a 11 bit identifier on their CAN-bus. Now I am faced with a 29 bit identifier in a car. Somehow Testlab fails to decode the OBD-II data on the CAN-bus via the generic obd *.dbc-file. Is there some way to still obtain the OBD-II signals, even when a car uses a 29 bit identifier?

Hello,

after counceling with support I managed to get the CAN-read out to work. So obviously LMS can handle CAN-Data with 29bit identifier. I suspect that in my case the OBD2-data wasn't on the CAN pins but on some other pins at the connector. However, now I used a specific *.dbc file for the car to decode the CAN-stream directly instead of using a generic OBD2 file and that worked perfectly.
